TERMS & CONDITIONS

Bookings
‍All bookings need to be confirmed by an employee of Magnum Opus Tattoo Mornington. This can be done by reaching out to your desired artist via social media or calling the studio to organise a consultation or booking.

‍Deposits
‍To lock in any booking with an artist a deposit is required. We will not hold any date/time for a booking until a deposit has been paid

‍Large Tattoos
‍We will require half the price of the day sitting upfront as a deposit when booking in. Your artist will clearly outline and identify the cost involved for this day rate at your consultation. 24hrs notice is required to reschedule your appointment day/time. Failure to do this you will forfeit your deposit

‍Smaller Tattoos
‍We will require a $50.00 (fifty dollar) excl GST deposit to secure your booking. Failure to show to your booking you will forfeit your deposit. 24hrs notice is required to reschedule your appointment day/time. Failure to do this you will forfeit your deposit

‍Touch-Ups
‍The artists at Magnum Opus Mornington will guarantee their work. Should you require a touch-up on your tattoo you are expected to inform your artist as per our instructions  within two (2) weeks of needing a touch-up which will be free. Failure to do this will result in you paying the minimum as per the artists hourly rate. If your tattoo is still healing the artist will honour the touch-up until completely healed.

‍Refunds
‍Should you change your mind on your tattoo appointment and a deposit has been paid more that 7 (seven) business day’s notice is required. In order to receive your refund you will have to come back to the studio to collect your deposit. We will NOT transfer any money.

‍Credits
‍On the very rare instance where your artist needs to reschedule your appointment if you cannot agree on a day/time and you request your deposit money back you will receive a gift voucher to the value of the deposit amount paid. Whether you use it later on or transfer it to another person as a gift voucher we will honour this gift voucher

‍The day of your booking
‍If you come in on the day of your booking and decide that you want to change the design there will be additional charges added to your booking. Changes in size an artist can work with but if you change the design and add more detail this will eat into your booking time as the artist will need to sit down and re design your concept. The artists time isn’t free therefore the additional charges will be added onto your final price.

‍Under no circumstances will we ever transfer money back to you. This goes against our Terms and Conditions.

‍‍Can I bring my friends along?
‍As much as we get and understand we love our support people we do need to limit this to only one person, our tattoo areas are not that big and if every client had a handful of friends come in it can be really distracting for the artist and very crowded.

‍Can I bring my Kids to my appointment?
‍This is a firm NO. As much as we love the little people they can be highly distracting for you as the client and also the artist. Not to mention the area is not suitable for a child to be around with trolleys, chairs, all the expensive tattoo equipment and all our light stands with cords. If you bring your children in your artist reserves the right to cancel your appointment on the day with no refund.

‍Can I bring my dog in?
‍This is a firm NO. As much as we love our furry friends we need to keep the studio as clean and sterile as we possibly can. Magnum Opus Tattoo staff will also NOT look after your animals if they are tied up outside. Leave the fur babies at home

‍Vouchers
‍They are NOT redeemable for cash should you want to transfer your voucher to someone else you can by coming into the studio to do so.

Voucher giveaways
‍If you have received more than one (1) voucher from a Magnum Opus giveaway, fundraiser, trivia night only one (1) voucher can be redeemed PER booking.

‍Artist Voucher
‍If the artist you have been seeing has left Magnum Opus Mornington another qualified artist will be able to fulfil your booking. There are NO refunds on any Magnum Opus Tattoo vouchers purchased.
